A neighbor was visiting and noticed me gazing off. I turned on my web cam and started recording. I was having mild auras all day prior to this. The first seizure is an Atonic seizure at 0:47, then develops into a complex partial. My eyes do something really freaky at 1:42. The seizure lasts until 1:49. I am uncomfortable and am starting to have the "butterfly freeze" aura I get. (It is a cross between butterflies in the stomach and a feeling of being shaken upside down. I also feel very cold.) I start shaking at 2:46. The crashing sound you hear is my friend's drink spilling when he rushes up to come stand in front of me. I closed my eyes and tried to breath through it, but it did develop into a Tonic Clonic... Just a short one though. My friend took the laptop away because it was on my lap and he didn't want it to fall on the ground. I wish he would have kept filming it for doctoral purposes...but he closed the laptop when he took it... I woke up an hour later. I have epile! psy, MS, and I am on heart medication for tachycardia episodes. I take 3 AED's. They work pretty well at controlling the bigger seizures, but not to great at the Atonic seizures... Those are annoying and a bummer. Hope this video helps. I know there are not a lot of videos posted showing adults with Atonic seizures...
